An improved deadbeat predictive current control for permanent magnet linear synchronous motor

For the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) applied in the high-precision equipment, motor control system should have characteristics of high dynamic response and strong robustness. Predictive current control is an effective method to improve the dynamic response of the system, but it requires accurate motor parameters. This paper presents an improved deadbeat predictive current control for PMLSM based on the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technology, a correction factor is introduced to reduce the response time on the basis of ensuring the system stability, and in order to overcome the parameter mismatch between the linear motor and the controller, a parameter disturbance observer is added, this method improves the robustness of the current loop. Simulation results show the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed strategy, and experiment platform based on the field programmable gates array (FPGA) is constructed, experimental results demonstrate that the current loop has high bandwidth and good robustness.
